SHOT A COUPLE COATS OF PRIMER ON THE CAR TONITE TO SEE JUST WERE WE ARE, NEEDS SOME WORK BUT IT LOOKS LIKE IT SHOLD BE GETTIN SOME PAINT SOOOOON

DAN & VINNY STOPPED BY SUNDAY TO DO SOME WORK ON THE 32 GO KART!!! WELL VINNY WORKED WHILE DAN STOOD AROUND !!!! MIDWEST HOT ROD LOUVERED A PANNEL FOR THE TRUNK. VINNY GOT THE DECALS AND RUNNING BOARD COVERS OFF AND STARTED SANDING FOR THE TITTY PINK PAINT WORK !!!

Tow Trucks for Tots 2010,
A local Slacker was spotted in Rockdale, Illinois on November 19, 2010. People say that Club Members are seen everywhere. Even at a Tow Trucks For Tots Event. The species is very rare, but cases have been shown that they are starting to multiply in the Wisconsin area.

WELDING &BONDO

SPEEDY AL STOPPED BY TODAY AND GOT RIGHT INTO WELDING ON THE LEFT DOOR!!! HE GOT THAT ALL DONE SO WE CAN START ON THE BODY WORK ON IT. WORKED ON THE REAR OF THE CAR TONIGHT , IT SURE SEEMS LIKE ITS SLOW GOING BUT WE ARE MAKING GOOD PROGRESS , AFTER WELDING IN THE ROOF AND SUPPORT BRACES IT WARPED IT PRETTY GOOD IN SOME PLACES SO THAT MAY SLOW US DOWN WHEN WE GET TO THE TOP.

STARTED DOING SOME FIBERGLASS WORK ON THE 32 FORD GOKART, THIS THING ALSO HAS TO BE DONE FOR THE WORLD OF WHEELS SHOW !! IT SHOULD LOOK GOOD WITH ITS NEW PINK PAINT JOB!!!!!

Ok here is a sample of the paint for the model a !!! didn't want to give it up but just had to show it off!!! I came home from St. Louis today and this is what Chris had done!!! As always I don't know how he does it but it is fucking awsome, as you can see it is in the bedroom, I am goin to sleep with this beauty tonight!!! GREAT JOB CHRIS!!!!!!!!!

THE BODYWORK!!!

Now the bodywork!! you sand till your fingers fall off then you sand some more,with all the block sanding you would think you should have arms the size of Hulk Hogans????it looks like a lot of filler but the body is fairly STRAIGHT!! just a skim coat over the entire body to get it really nice!!!I was hoping to get the grill shell all done for Chicago Chris this weekend so he could put some color on it to see what it may look like but work and hockey got in the way.

LONG NITE

Thanks to Rob and Al who stopped by tonight to help out!!!!!A lot of work got done tonight, we are ready for filler( finally)the amount of welding wire that went into this project is mind boggggeling!! two welders going at times on this small body!!! hours and hours of welding cutting and grinding!! put the first coat of duraglass on tonight, makes you feel like there is a end in sight. This thing is welded up tight not a pin hole in sight thanks to Als steady hand. Thanks guys!!!!!!

WELDING ,WELDING ,WELDING!!!!

Three hours of straight welding today!!!! rewelded the complete deck lid, welded in the fuel filler neck,welded up the kustom grill shell,cut the hole and fitted the steering column!!!!

Seriously need to go here this Year!!!!!!!!
