THE BODYWORK!!!

Now the bodywork!! you sand till your fingers fall off then you sand some more,with all the block sanding you would think you should have arms the size of Hulk Hogans????it looks like a lot of filler but the body is fairly STRAIGHT!! just a skim coat over the entire body to get it really nice!!!I was hoping to get the grill shell all done for Chicago Chris this weekend so he could put some color on it to see what it may look like but work and hockey got in the way.

Thanks to Rob and Al who stopped by tonight to help out!!!!!A lot of work got done tonight, we are ready for filler( finally)the amount of welding wire that went into this project is mind boggggeling!! two welders going at times on this small body!!! hours and hours of welding cutting and grinding!! put the first coat of duraglass on tonight, makes you feel like there is a end in sight. This thing is welded up tight not a pin hole in sight thanks to Als steady hand. Thanks guys!!!!!!

WELDING ,WELDING ,WELDING!!!!

Three hours of straight welding today!!!! rewelded the complete deck lid, welded in the fuel filler neck,welded up the kustom grill shell,cut the hole and fitted the steering column!!!!

Seriously need to go here this Year!!!!!!!!
